The Ladies from the Capel CWA asked the Men’s Shed to convert
their Caravan into a mobile storeroom for them.
This was the Men’s Shed first big project for the shed since
it’s opening.
In 2022 the Brunswick Junction Community Men’s Shed hosted an event for the Men’s Sheds to support health and Well-being in men with guest speakers from New South Wales and all-over Western Australia talking about men’s health and wellbeing.

The Men's Shed got behind the purple bench program for domestic violence
The Centre for Women’s Safety and Wellbeing’s Purple Bench Project supports the installations of a series of purple benches in public spaces to honour all victims killed as a result of family and domestic violence (FDV). This initiative is supported by local government and members of parliament. The latest data reports that one woman a week is killed by a current or former partner, one in three (30.5%) Australian women has experienced physical violence since the age of fifteen and one in four Australian women (23.0%) has experienced emotional abuse by a current or former partner.
The Brunswick Town team approach the Brunswick Men's Shed to see if we could make them a mobile food cart for the town so this is what we produced for them
The Brunswick Junction Community Men's Shed held a Men's Shed/ Community Event in March. The event was aimed around health and wellbeing, online safety and interactive workshops.
