The Brunswick Hen's Shed was established by Brunswick Men's Shed in 2022 to provide a safe and secure environment for women from the ages of 18 year and over, where women can come together to learn the basic skills for DIY jobs at home, to more complexed wood craft projects

Under the guidance of a handful of knowledgeable men's shed members, the Hens have been learning hands-on techniques, many have never had the opportunity to experience. Recently our enthusiastic hens have been focusing on learning key woodworking skills and the safe usage of power tools. Our ladies are putting newfound skills into action with a range of community-focused and personal projects. The Hen's Shed is a fantastic way for adult women of all ages to decompress away from the demands of daily life in a supportive and inclusive environment

The Australian Men’s Shed Association has been a haven for Australian men for 30 years, providing a supportive space for blokes to break social isolation and be productive. Since its opening in 2020, the Brunswick Men's Shed has been a cornerstone of the community and now in 2022, their community has expanded to include South West women, with the creation of the Brunswick Hen's Shed
